This role is at the forefront of developing, implementing, and maintaining hardware solutions and software application stha align with the college's business objectives.This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to drive innovation, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives across all college divisions.
Furthermore, this leadership position encompasses the supervision of IT staff, orchestrating effective task delegation, schedule management, and maintaining a steadfast focus on the full spectrum of client services. From the initial stages of development to the final phases of implementation and maintenance,the director ensures that all technological processes are perfectly aligned with the college's strategic objectives.

A. Strategic Planning and Leadership:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for infrastructure solutions aligned with
the organization's goals and objectives.
• Provide visionary leadership and guidance to the infrastructure team, fostering a culture of

• Collaborate with senior leadership to define infrastructure priorities and resource allocation
strategies.
B. Infrastructure Architecture and Design:
• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions to
meet current and future business needs
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for infrastructure
optimization and innovation.
• Ensure alignment of infrastructure architecture with industry best practices and compliance
requirements.
C. Project Management and Execution:
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to
timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Establish and maintain project management methodologies, processes, and tools to facilitate
effective project execution and communication.
• Mitigate project risks and escalate issues as necessary to ensure project success.
D. Team Development and Management:
• Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of infrastructure professionals, fostering a
culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional growth and development
opportunities.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team
effectiveness.
E. Vendor Management and Partnerships:
• Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure the
delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions and services.
• Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms to optimize value and
mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to assess technology offerings, evaluate potential
solutions, and address technical challenges.
F. Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and security
protocols related to infrastructure operations.
• Implement and maintain effective risk management practices to safeguard infrastructure assets
and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Continuous Improvement team to conduct audits, assessments, and remediation
activities as needed.
G. Operational and Technology Management:
• In charge of college's computing resources, encompassing desktop environments, classroom
technologies, and computer lab systems, along with all related peripheral devices.
• Responsible for lifecycle of computing assets, from procurement and implementation to
configuration, regular maintenance, and systematic troubleshooting. Ensure the responsible
decommissioning of technology assets, maintaining peak operational performance and reliability.
Maintain up-to-date process documentation to ensure consistency and quality in operations.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our product suite's features and their corresponding
solutions, and leveraging this knowledge to educate and inspire team members to deliver exceptional
user experiences.
• Conduct bi-annual performance reviews and goal-setting sessions. Set clear performance metrics
and support the professional development of team members.
• Identify areas of improvement and implement effective remediation strategies to address customer
pain points and enhance satisfaction.
• Proactively engage with customers who provide negative feedback, understanding their concerns,
and taking prompt action to resolve issues and improve their experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
• A Bachelor's degree in one of the specified fields: Computer Science, Information Technology,
Management of Information Systems, Business Management, or related field is required.
• Alternatively, an Associate's degree can be considered if the following prerequisites are
met:
- Experience: The candidate should have 5 to 10 years of experience in the field of Information
Technology.
- Management Experience: Qualified candidate must have a proven track record in leading and
managing high performing teams, particularly in the IT sector. -
-- Certifications: Industry-standard IT certifications can be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's
degree. These certifications msut demonstrate expertise and knowledge in specific areas of IT.
- Experience with a variety of hardware and software applications including Microsoft, Apple
products, and cloud based technologies.
- Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience with working knowledge of Microsoft
software platforms and OS.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Understanding of Change Management, Total Quality Management, Business Optimization, and
Strategic Planning processes is highly desirable.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master's degree in Information Technology with a focus on Business Administration is preferred,
coupled with experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience within a K-12 or higher education setting is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in software development.
• Strong technical expertise in application architecture, design patterns, development frameworks,
and cloud technologies.
• A proven track record of leading and delivering complex application projects successfully, on
time, and within budget.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to
influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices is highly sought after.
• Relevant certifications, such as PMP, ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Scrum Master
are a plus.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Salary Range: Anticipated starting salary range: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 annually. This salary is determined by the qualifications of the selected candidate balanced with departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information. CCA offers an excellent , including generous leave, holiday, and education benefits. Full time employees immediately upon hire earn 15 hours a month annual leave and 10 hours a month sick leave.
