About the position
Dunkin Donuts is seeking energetic, friendly, and responsible individuals to join our team as Crew Members at our Doral location. We are currently accepting applications for both full-time and part-time positions. The ideal candidates must be at least 18 years old and should be prepared to work flexible schedules, including morning, afternoon, and closing shifts. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. You will also be involved in beverage preparation, sandwich assembly, and various other tasks to support the smooth operation of the store. We are committed to following health and safety guidelines, especially in light of COVID-19, and you will be expected to conduct disinfection tasks as outlined in our Dining Room Reopening Resource Guide. Responsibilities
- Smile and greet guests as they arrive
- Take the guest's order without interrupting and ring to detail
- Utilize smart selling techniques
- Repeat order for clarification and confirmation; provide total
- Collect payment, provide receipt and order number
- Direct guest to pickup area
- Thank the guest, invite to return
- Enter delivery orders into POS from tablet, if applicable
- Clean and maintain dining room
- Conduct disinfection travel paths
- Conduct Disinfectant Station tasks noted in COVID-19 Dining Room Reopening Resource Guide
- Finish and deliver all beverages passed from cashier
- Monitor hot coffee hold times
- Brew hot coffee
- Brew iced beverages
- Monitor VDU for orders
- Toast all carriers
- Package hash browns
- Stage sandwich wrapper sleeves on prep surface
- Build and wrap all sandwiches and apply spreads to bagels
- Deliver completed orders to expediter
- Bump items from VDU immediately upon completion
- Maintain Hot Hold times and discard/record fillers as waste
- Pass empty hot hold pans for replenishment
- Place batched fillers in the hot holding units & set time
- Monitor and communicate hot hold times
- Batch cook sandwich fillers and hash browns
- Prepare all menu items that require cooking in the Turbo Chef
- Pass cooked items to Sandwich Assembler
- Prior to entering position meet Personal Health & Hygiene Standards
- Wash hands prior to entering position, frequently, & per Brand Standard
- Monitor cash drawer and request change if needed
- Clean, sanitize and stock station
- Arrange donut/bakery items, ensuring shelves look full; stock as needed
- Sample beverages & products
- Assist with brewing hot & iced beverages to maintain appropriate supply
- Assemble BOX O' JOE®
- Assist assembly of donut/bakery orders
- Clean, sanitize and stock beverage
- Assist with assembly and packaging of sandwich station product
- Pass cooked items to sandwich
- Assist Sandwich Cook with toasting of carriers
- Retrieve needed items from bakery case for heating
- Place cooked fillers into hot holding unit and set time
- Maintain hot holding times and discard/record product when expired
- Clean, station and stock station
- Wash hands, frequently
- Place napkins and condiments in the bag and prepare straw for beverage
- Check completed orders for accuracy
- Clean and stock cooler
- Pre fold wrappers
- Sweep floor
- Clean and maintain dining room
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Energetic and friendly demeanor
- Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
