What’s involved in this role:  

The Retail Store Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while adhering to all food safety requirements. 

  • Schedules available monthly
  • Part Time position

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Greet customers entering the establishment, contributing to a positive guest experience by exceeding their expectations and preparing orders to their specifications.
  • Run the cash register; receiving payment by cash, check, or credit card and issuing receipts, refunds, or change as needed.
  • Perform reconciliation of cash drawer, ensuring amounts are correct and that adequate change is available.
  • Maintain adequate stocking of shelves, cleanliness, and organization of work area throughout the day.
  • Cook and prepare food items per our standards of quality, consistency, and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all health code requirements and organization standards.
  • Operate equipment safely as determined by organization safety standards.

What You Need to Join Our Team:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in customer service, retail and/or food safe environment required.

All of our cheese is supplied from our three Wisconsin plants in Appleton, Luxemburg and Weyauwega. In addition to our own cheese, we carry over 100 other varieties of cheese from Wisconsin along. We also offer our guests a fantastic selection of gifts, homemade pizza, fudge, craft beer, wine and many other items that make our store a unique destination.
