Shipping and Receiving Associate Up to 22.00+ per hour based on experience and qualifications! ID-11968

GAT Systems is looking to add a new member to the team! Our company has been a B2B partner in the Custom Finishing industry for over 60 years. Our current opening is for an entry-level Shipping and Receiving Associate. The individual will support various departments by managing incoming and outgoing materials and products. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, have great oral and written communication skills, and be collaborative!

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities we are looking for:

  • Accept and document packages and deliveries made to the facility
  • Store items received in appropriate storage areas, documenting any changes
  • Prepare items for shipping, noting item contents, delivery methods, and other logistical details
  • Identify and resolve shipping, storage, or receiving discrepancies as they arise
  • Maintain an organized workspace


Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Prior warehouse experience is a plus
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. Will train.
  • Excellent stamina, strength, and dexterity.
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  • A willingness to learn and work overtime when required.
