Remote Data Entry, No Experience, $40/hr, Part-Time

Voxtur is recruiting Street View Image Drivers to collect imagery in the Dayton, Ohio area with the possibility of other campaigns.

In this role,  vehicle operators will drive a specified route to automatically collect image data for our street view imaging product on behalf of a local client. This role requires a driver to follow a map on a designated route while maintaining a set speed to collect image data. The Street View Driver will also be responsible for coordinating with the supervisor to make shipments of data back to the office for further processing. Camera-mounted vehicles and training are provided. The nature of the photography work is subject to weather conditions.

• Comfortable with maps, GPS, computers and camera equipment

• Strong positional awareness

• Availability to work continuously during contract

• Weekend work required

• Ability to work alone or as part of a team

• Military experience an asset

Requirements:

• Ability to read a map and a GPS (i.e. Garmin, TomTom etc.) and use the two in conjunction with each other

• Strong aptitude of positional awareness in urban and rural settings

• Ability to focus on driving while multiple data collection instrumentation is in operation

• Effective time management and organization skills

• Basic computer and technical skills and access to a computer with Internet

• Motivation and aptitude for working independently

• Impeccable valid driver’s license

• Experience with GIS and/or digital cameras is an asset

• Applicants must be 26 years of age or older in accordance with our vehicle insurance policy

Successful candidates will be subject to clearing a criminal background check and an accident-free driver abstract.
