Twitter Internship – Sourcing and Supply Chain Specialist In Overland Park ID-5750

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will collaborate with Vendor Management, Hardware Engineering, Network Engineering and Mission Control Engineering (MCE) in managing purchase requests, tracking of delivery status, providing rack and component delivery guidance to data center teams and manage Invoices on hold. You will also handle sourcing requests for capacity deployment for Twitter’s growing hardware fleet.

<p><strong><u>Qualifications<br />

  • <li>4+ years of experience working in Supply Chain or equivalent logistics/ purchasing/sourcing roles</li>
  • <li>2+ years of experience working with Advanced Excel reports.</li>
  • <li>Well organized and detail oriented</li>
  • <li>Educational Background Engineering or BS College Degree or equivalent OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.</li>
  • <li>Strong verbal and written  communication skills</li>
  • <li>A quick learner and self-starter in a fast paced subject-to change environment</li>

<p><strong><u>Preferred Requirements<br />

  • <li>Experience working with vendors within the Data Center, Telecommunications or Hardware Commodity industries</li>
  • <li>Working knowledge with networking concepts, Points of Presence (POPs) as well as routers and switching hardware is preferred.</li>

<p>The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$167,000.00 &#8211; USD$234,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include  education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.</p>
