Job Overview

The Party Staff, Inc. is a leading provider of on-call hospitality and special event staffing. We are currently seeking a skilled Staffing Assistant to join our team in San Diego.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greets applicants, staff, and guests, providing a professional and welcoming experience.
• Confirms staff on event orders and provides necessary event information, ensuring seamless execution.
• Fields a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls with clients, field staff, and job seekers, demonstrating exceptional communication skills.
• Responds to emails in a timely and professional manner, maintaining excellent customer service.
• Completes data entry tasks efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assists with collecting hours worked for field staff, facilitating smooth payroll processing.
• Maintains a clean workspace and communal area, upholding a positive and productive work environment.
• Takes weekly inventory of office supplies, communicating needs to management to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Strong active listening, speaking, reading comprehension, writing, service orientation, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingualism in English and Spanish is highly valued, given the diverse staff we work with.
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS) is beneficial.
• Excellent time management, coordination, social perceptiveness, and adaptability skills are desirable.

Compensation:

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
