Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience at our establishment. Familiarity with fine dining and nightclub settings is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for order processing.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests seated at the bar.
  • Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting in ordering as necessary.
  • Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and ensure responsible serving practices.
  • Participate in catering events or banquets as needed, showcasing versatility in various service settings.

Skills

  • Proficient in using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for efficient order management.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during peak hours.
  • Excellent sales abilities to promote drink specials and increase overall sales.
  • Previous fine dining or nightclub experience is preferred, showcasing familiarity with high-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Experience in brewing or knowledge of various beverage types is a plus.
