Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, the elderly, and those requiring assistance in daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive care and companionship. This role is vital in ensuring that our clients receive the necessary support to maintain their independence and dignity.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients
  • Monitor and record vital signs as needed
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being
  • Assist with patient observation, noting any changes in behavior or health status
  • Support individuals with memory care needs through structured activities and routines
  • Provide hospice care as required, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times
  • Facilitate communication between clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

Qualifications

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Background in social work or related fields is a plus
  • Knowledge of patient care techniques, including vital signs monitoring and meal preparation
  • Familiarity with hospice care practices is advantageous
  • Strong observational skills to identify changes in client condition or behavior
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
