Library Page Clerk - Regular Part Time ID-11238

About the position

The City of Appleton is seeking a Library Page Clerk for a regular part-time position. This role is essential for the smooth operation of the library, focusing on processing and preparing library materials for circulation. The Library Page Clerk will be responsible for ensuring that all library materials are organized, shelved correctly, and readily available for patrons. The work environment is supportive, with supervision provided by a section assistant supervisor and the section supervisor, ensuring that the Library Page Clerk has guidance and support in their daily tasks. In this role, the Library Page Clerk will engage with various library materials, which may include books, magazines, and other resources. Attention to detail is crucial, as the clerk will need to accurately shelve items according to the library's organizational system. Additionally, the clerk may assist patrons in locating materials and may be involved in other clerical tasks as assigned by supervisors.
