Purpose

Operates all production equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality material that meets customer requirements.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below:

  1. Operate all production equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality materials that meet the customer requirements.
  2. Compliance with Work Package Instructions and reviews production specifications.
  3. Communicate and review status of work in process at beginning and end of shift.
  4. Perform startups and shutdowns of equipment as needed.
  5. Reports decisions, problems, and questions in a timely manner to management.
  6. Keep a clean and safe work area.
  7. Assist in the completion of special projects.
  8. Follow all Quality, Safety and Environmental Procedures.
  9. Uphold the Ravago Code of Conduct standards.
  10. Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.


Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications
  1. Education:
  1. Highs School Diploma or equivalent.
  1. Experience:
  1. Experience a plus but not required, must be willing to learn and follow procedures.
  2. Basic math skills required and detail oriented.
  3. Ability to read, speak, and write English efficiently, preferred.
  4. Must be able to communicate with others and management.
  1. Licenses / Certifications:
    1. Forklift certification, preferred
