Impact Employment is now hiring Production Packagers on behalf of our partner, a Plastics & Rubber company located in Parkman, OH. This is a temp to hire position with openings on first, second, and third shift. Applicants must complete an interview and a (paid) new hire orientation before starting.
Shift
1st - $15/ph - 8am to 4pm
2nd - $15/ph + $1.50 Shift Differential - 4pm to 12am
3rd - $15/ph + $1.00 Shift Differential 12am to 8am
Job Summary:
Impact Employment Solutions is now hiring dedicated and detail-oriented Packers & Laborers to join our partner in Parkman, OH. This is a, temp to hire position. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, ensuring that products are assembled and packed efficiently while meeting quality standards
Essential Functions: Assembly and Packing: Follow spec sheets and blueprints to accurately pack and assemble various product components with precision.
Collaboration: Work effectively alongside Operators to consistently meet production targets, contributing to the overall efficiency of the production process
Quality Inspection: Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products rigorously to ensure adherence to quality and packing specifications.
Measurement: Utilize appropriate tools to measure, weigh, and count products and materials accurately to maintain inventory and production records.
Container Sealing: Seal containers and materials using various methods including glues, fasteners, nails, tape, and hand tools to ensure secure packaging.
Record Keeping: Document product, packaging, and order information diligently on specified forms to maintain accurate records for production tracking.
Production Line Operations: Operate effectively on various stages of the production line, adapting to different tasks as needed to support workflow.
100 % Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet established standards before shipping.
Final Assembly: Assemble finished products meticulously and prepare them for shipping, ensuring compliance with all packaging requirements.
Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in the workplace.
Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the production team and the organization.
