Sales Representative

Other Jobs To Apply

Cottom’s Wildlife Removal, a growing family-owned company that’s been serving customers in Ohio since 1986, is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated sales representative/inspector to join our team. If you love meeting new people, solving problems and making a positive impact by helping homeowners protect their most valuable asset, this might be just the opportunity you’ve been looking for!

In this role, you’ll split your time between working with homeowners who have already reached out to us for help and actively creating new opportunities to grow our customer base. Both sides are essential, and together, they’ll keep you busy and challenged every day.

When you’re handling incoming leads, our CSRs will take the calls and set the appointments for you. You’ll visit the customer’s home, conduct a thorough inspection to assess the pest or wildlife issue, identify potential risks and provide expert recommendations tailored to their needs. You’ll also take the time to explain their best options and show how our services provide lasting protection, not just a quick fix.

Of course, sales isn’t just about waiting for people to contact us. It’s also about creating opportunities and that’s where your proactive outreach comes in. You’ll make cold calls using a list we provide and look for chances to offer additional services that benefit our current customers. This includes cross-selling and upselling when it makes sense, always focusing on solutions that genuinely meet their needs. Balancing set appointments with proactive outreach keeps your pipeline full and your results strong, and while you’ll have plenty of independence in the field, you’ll always have our team’s support when you need it.

At the end of the day, your mission is simple: to help homeowners make informed decisions that are right for them. In other words, it’s never about pushing a sale or convincing someone to buy something they don’t need. It’s about building trust, providing expert guidance and making sure they feel confident choosing Cottom’s to protect their home and family.

So why choose to work with us instead of another company? We’re glad you asked! We offer competitive compensation, a supportive, laid-back work environment and great benefits including health insurance and paid time off. If you’re looking to be part of a team where you can grow personally and professionally while making a difference in the lives of your coworkers and our customers, we’d love to talk with you about joining the Cottom’s family.
