Required Skills

  • Working as a QA for a SAAS/Web-Based product with experience in any one of the following domains, a. VPN/DNS solutions b. Enterprise connectors for Microsoft Active Directory or Samba/FreeIPA Directory c. Third-party integrations like ZenDesk, Tableau, Splunk, etc

  • Should have an acceptable understanding of using tools such as Wireshark/Ethereal, Charles proxy, or other such tools.

  • If working on Active Directory-related products, then an understanding of LDAP protocols is expected.

  • Should have experience in using JIRA and Confluence.

  • Hands-on experience with QA practices, with experience in white and black box testing.

  • Beyond identifying the issues, you should be able to triage the issues using the various tools and logging mechanisms.

  • Able to generate clear, concise test plans and execute them using the available tools and work in an agile setup.

Job Description

  • Work in the capacity of manual QA on Scalefusion’s offerings across platforms, with a primary focus on third-party integrations, VPN/DNS offerings, and enterprise connectors.

  • You will be required to understand the requirements and derive functional and performance test cases.

  • Working with the wider team to estimate and execute QA cycles in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Create comprehensive and crystal-clear documentation, test cases, test plans, and other artifacts that will be used for internal and external consumption.

  • Working with multiple platforms and domain-specific tools and software to perform the testing.

  • Be an excellent team player with the ability to work as an individual contributor with minimal direction.

  • Work with the internal customer-facing teams to help them resolve the queries coming from the field. If required, you should be able to join customer calls.

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills in the English language with the ability to interact effectively with co-workers.

  • Requires you to work in a highly technical and agile environment with a results-driven but empathetic team and an ability to learn new technologies.
