We are seeking an experienced Share Point Administrator/Developer to manage, develop, and support our Share Point environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, and maintaining Share Point sites and applications. This role involves configuring Share Point systems to meet organizational needs, developing new features, and providing ongoing support to ensure the optimal performance of Share Point solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Share Point Administration & Development:

Meet with various teams to gather, review, and understand requirements for Share Point projects.Define tasks, set development goals, and manage time lines for Share Point-related initiatives.Configure and manage Share Point Online (O365) environments, including the creation of Hub, Communication, and Team sites.Administer and manage Office 365 groups, permissions, and access controls for Share Point sites.Design, develop, and implement scalable applications, including custom forms, web parts, and work flows.Extend Share Point functionality by using modern web technologies and interaction’s.Perform code testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth functionality.Regularly maintain and update existing Share Point applications and solutions to keep them current and efficient.Troubleshoot software issues related to Share Point and offer prompt resolutions.Provide training and support for staff and customers on the use of Share Point tools and applications.Essential Skills:

Strong understanding of Share Point Online (O365) architecture and administration.Experience in developing and maintaining Share Point Hub, Communication, and Team sites.Proficiency in managing O365 groups and handling Share Point access permissions.Experience in designing, coding, and implementing custom Share Point solutions using tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, and Share Point Designer.Ability to extend Share Point’s core functionality with custom web parts, forms, work flows, and modern technologies.Strong troubleshooting skills to debug and resolve Share Point issues efficiently.Experience with software development best practices, testing, and version control.Capability to configure Share Point systems according to user requirements and organisational needs.Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and gather requirements.Experience providing training and support to end-users on Share Point usage.Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of SOL database administration and its integration with Share Point.Awareness of data protection principles, including GDPR, and the ability to ensure compliance in Share Point solutions.Active involvement in the Share Point community to stay updated on best practices, emerging trends, and new features.Familiarity with other Microsoft 365 tools and how they integrate with Share Point (e.g., Teams, One Drive).
