Software Development Engineer, AWS Transit Gateway ID-12093

Amazon Web Services is looking for an experienced software development engineer with a passion for taking on big data and large-scale distributed systems without compromising on operational excellence. This position is an engineering role within one of the teams within the organization that builds SD-WAN connectivity services such as Transit Gateway and Cloud WAN. The team is the data platform team and owns the data architecture and components for enabling network observability and metering.

The ideal candidate is willing to dive deep to understand high-volume and low-latency messaging, processing, storage and querying challenges and craft solutions to address foundational concerns or build on top of existing capabilities

You will have an in-depth knowledge of streaming data technologies and experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Flink or Kafka and AWS services such as Redshift, Athena, S3, EC2, Lambda, SNS/SQS, Kinesis.
