TeleHealth Nurse (WFH in NS or PEI) ID-8830

As a TeleHealth Nurse, you will offer remote nursing support to patients, providing guidance, education, and care coordination via phone or video calls. This role is ideal for a self-motivated nurse who thrives in a virtual healthcare environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide telephone-based or video consultation, triaging patient concerns and offering medical advice based on established protocols.
  • Assess patient symptoms, determine urgency, and provide appropriate recommendations or referrals.
  • Educate patients on health conditions, medication management, and wellness strategies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and other professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

  • Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license in Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience (preferably in acute care, emergency, or primary care).
  • Strong communication and active listening skills to provide effective virtual patient care.
  • Comfort using telehealth platforms, electronic medical records (EMRs), and other digital healthcare tools.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced virtual environment.
