The City of Lilburn is accepting applications for part-time Park Attendants. Responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of Lilburn City Park and Camp Creek Greenway and insuring that the general public obeys all park rules. Serves as the citizens’ point of contact during special events held in the park or greenway and during the time(s) when city facilities are rented by external customers.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Set up and take down of event equipment, tables, chairs, tents, audio equipment, clean-up of facilities, removing trash from parks and pavilions, and cleaning and restocking restrooms.
  • During facility rentals, checking area before, during, and after rental; completing paperwork, emptying trash, maintaining restrooms, and monitoring event activities.
  • Maintain security to all buildings in the park.
  • Must be able to perform a variety of physical labor activities, both indoors and outdoors. Must be punctual and reliable and have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work varying shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. Must be able to interact with the general public in a positive way. Must pass a Criminal History Background Check Must have a valid Georgia Driver's License Must provide a driver's history report from the Department of Motor Vehicles
