Senior Account Executive, New Business ID-12335
As a Sr. New Business Account Executive, you will play a fundamental role in driving Tegus’ continued growth. By strategically navigating a targeted green field territory of investment firms with our strongest market fit, you will land new customers who will grow with us for years to come.
In this role, you will develop strategies and playbooks to open opportunities and land in new organizations. The ideal candidate brings experience in an outbound selling motion, and is passionate about building playbooks tailored to our target customer profile.
As a seasoned seller and trusted advisor in your domain, you will quarterback the sales process from lead generation to close, build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels (from users to C-Suite decision makers) and partner cross functionally to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for selling Tegus’ platform and services into a group of target accounts with strong product market fit, including public and private investments managers, family offices, venture capital, or investment banks.
- Develop account and territory plans by prioritizing named accounts and executing on this plan cross-functionally to build pipeline and maximize revenue opportunity.
- Forge relationships across multiple business units within an organization including Investment Teams, Compliance, Market Data, Procurement, Legal and CFOs office.
- Evangelize the Tegus platform with passion and clearly articulate the value of Tegus given the customer's pain points and goals. Gain/maintain expert knowledge of all current and future Tegus products.
- Continuous education about the investment industry, financial markets and related current events.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of quota carrying sales experience.
- Proven success in direct new business sales, including greenfield selling of enterprise software or services with a keen interest (or prior experience) in selling into investment firms.
- Experience navigating a cross-departmental sales process that involves several stakeholders with differing roles, objectives and levels of authority.
- Excitement to be the goal scorer, desire to be a part of a winning organization, and eagerness to continuously grow and develop skills.
- Incredibly strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer empathy, high integrity, positive energy and natural curiosity are critical for success in this role.
