ABOUT THE ROLE

Your usual day of awesomeness includes:  

  • Be the champion of Ultra Mobile social by leading areas that drive brand loyalty and reinforce the brand voice
  • Assist the Social Media Team with the development of engagement tactics and brainstorming ideas to help grow Ultra Mobile and Mint Mobile’s followers, engagement, and traffic to our websites. Always pushing both brands to continuously ideate and innovate in the social space.
  • Lead and manage Ultra’s social content calendar which includes but is not limited to the following platforms: Instagram, Facebook, and X
  • Brief creative partners to develop content that ladders back to social media best practices
  • Assist with the design of social media images/graphics including adhoc creative development as needed (examples: creating Instagram Reels, text overlays on content, etc.)
  • Oversee Ultra Mobile’s community management strategy to ensure a best in class social experience
  • Partner with Social Strategist to track Ultra Mobile social profile & content performance to identify high-performing ideas and make content calendar optimizations
  • Leverage social listening to monitor Ultra Mobile social sentiment and provide insights to Brand team and implement strategy optimizations 
  • Serve as the primary contact for Ultra Mobile between external social partners such as influencers and content creators
  • Lead and coordinate on-platform Ultra Mobile social campaigns to help drive brand KPIs
  • Launch and support Ultra Mobile influencer marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness
  • Participate and support in Mint Mobile marketing campaigns as needed

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • 4+ years of brand experience developing social media creative, strategy, editing copy, and engaging with an audience
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Familiar with native Facebook/X/Instagram Insights + CMS tools like Sprout Social
  • Extensive knowledge of social media best practices, emerging technologies, new content offerings and platform capabilities
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Team player who shows passion in their work
  • Critical thinker who can work independently
  • A risk-taker to try new tactics and strategies on social media to drive engagement
