About the position
The Maintenance Specialist I, II, or III position within the Wrangell Public Works Department is a permanent, full-time role focused on the construction, maintenance, repair, and alteration of public infrastructure such as streets, sidewalks, drainage, sewer, and water utilities. - Perform construction, maintenance, repair, and alteration of streets, sidewalks, drainage, sewer, and water utilities.
- Operate all public works heavy equipment for various projects.
- Work independently or cooperatively with others under the direction of the Public Works Foreman.
Requirements
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Experience in construction and maintenance of public infrastructure.
- Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
