When the truck comes into Amazon Warehouse, a group of people unloads the truck. Everything is packed when it gets here. The candidate’s job is to make sure it gets to the right place.<br />

It comes in and comes down the conveyor belt. The Sortation Center Associates go around and ship it down to whichever shoot that it’s intended for. Moreover, it’s their job to grab that package and put it on the right pallet. They’re scanning packages, scanning them to the pallet, making them look pretty so they don’t fall over in transit. Once the pallet is filled up, then it gets wrapped with plastic wrap. The life cycle of a package is typically a couple of hours. They have to move as fast as they can. The packages are up to 50 pounds. So Amazon teaches all their workers all these things to ensure that you don’t get injured on jobs.<br />

The Amazon Sortation Center Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately sorting customer orders in Corona, CA. Associates are responsible for scanning and sorting items, including heavy items requiring a pallet jack or hand-picking items from a bin.
